It is in spring of 1998 that NANOUK Films' principal producer Anouk Brault founded NANOUK Multimedia for the purpose and objective of producing multimedia tools to support its cinema productions. Following the production of André Gladu's documentary on Quebec's cinema history, a first CD-ROM prototype "Mémoires d'écrans" was made up. In 1999, NANOUK Multimedia produced a learn-by-play CD-ROM called "Patriotes" inspired from Michel Brault's "The long winter" feature film (1998) of which it is developped as a by-product. It is now available in Quebec libraries and specialized stores (french version only).
